Avocado

Avocados are similar to pears in their shape and have rough, green skin, as well as buttery flesh and a large seed in the middle. They are a native Mesoamerican species from the highlands of central and eastern Mexico and Guatemala. Avocados are unique fruits. Most fruits are primarily comprised of carbohydrates. Avocados, on the other hand, offer a high amount of healthy fats.
